Klarstein appears in two families: raclette and fondue sets, and stand mixers.
What we found writing the reviews
Twelve seats, three elements. The Fonduelette XL is not a raclette grill
with a fondue pot balanced on it: Klarstein publishes three separate stainless
heating elements, so cheese, meat and crêpes each get their own heat. Three
interchangeable tops — metal, natural stone, crêpe plate — come with it.
Two details from someone who has hosted. A lid that holds the fondue forks
upright so they do not sink, and color-marked skewers. Neither appears in a
specification comparison; both come from experience.
Named for what it is for. The TK2 stand mixer states heavy doughs — yeast and
bread — explicitly. A maker that names a job can be held to it, where two rivals
in that family name nothing.
And the contradiction. That same mixer’s title says 2,000 W; its
specification text says an 1,800 W motor. Both are Klarstein’s, in one
listing, and there is no manual here to arbitrate. Our page publishes both with
their sources rather than picking the flattering one.
Buying Klarstein in the United States
Both models reviewed here are European. On Amazon.com, the Fonduelette XL
is listed at 230 volts and shows as currently unavailable, and the TK2
stand mixer has no current US offer — neither would run on a 120 V outlet.
They sit at the end of their shelves for that reason. For US options:
