Nine machine numbers, published
Tefal XA400202 Non-Stick Raclette Pans, Pair
Two square non-stick raclette pans for Tefal's Ovation and Ambiance raclette grills. Tefal names the compatible machines one by one — nine references from 7814012 to RE600012 — rather than a range alone. Sold on the European Amazon stores, not on Amazon.com.
A list of numbers
Tefal publishes nine compatible machine references, individually:
7814012, 7811412, 7811622, 7814212, 7814292,
PR600012, RE450012, RE48101211 and RE600012 — the
Ovation and Ambiance raclette ranges.
That is the right way to publish pan compatibility. A raclette pan has to
slide under an element and sit at the correct height, and pans differ
between ranges from the same maker — a list by number removes the guessing
that a range name leaves in place. The reference is printed on the plate
under the machine; check it before ordering.
What is not published
Dimensions. Tefal answers the fit question with a list instead, which
works if your machine is on it and not at all if it is not.
The Steba set in this hub takes the opposite
approach: no machine list, but every dimension published — 3.9 × 3.1 ×
0.7 inches for the pan. Between them, the two cover most situations.
Not on Amazon.com
The reference B0026FC86Q is not listed on Amazon.com. It is sold on
the German, British, French, Italian and Spanish Amazon stores, and the
button on this page runs a search.
The bigger limit for an American reader is the list itself. The nine
machines it names are European raclette grills, built for 230 volts and
sold under the Tefal name rather than T-fal. A raclette grill bought in
the United States is not on it, and without published dimensions there is
nothing to measure against.
Two at a time
Sold in pairs, which is how pans actually go missing — one or two at a
time, over successive winters, rather than a whole set at once. Each
pair weighs about 3.5 ounces, and the listing states them dishwasher
safe.
The coating
Non-stick, on the component that gets scraped with a wooden spatula
several times an evening. It is the part of a raclette set that wears
first. Dishwasher safe is stated, but hand washing keeps a non-stick
film longer: a dishwasher cycle is hot, alkaline and abrasive, and a
coating is what it wears.
What readers want to know
Which Tefal machines do these fit?
Tefal names nine references: 7814012, 7811412, 7811622, 7814212, 7814292, PR600012, RE450012, RE48101211 and RE600012, from its Ovation and Ambiance raclette ranges. The reference is on the plate under the machine. A compatibility list by number is what to look for on any pan — the Steba set in this hub takes the other approach and publishes dimensions instead.
Can I buy them in the United States?
Not on Amazon.com. The reference B0026FC86Q returns no page there; it is sold on the German, British, French, Italian and Spanish Amazon stores, and the button on this page runs a search instead. The nine machines it fits are European 230-volt models, which is the more important point: an American raclette grill is not on the list, and Tefal publishes no dimensions to check it against. For a US grill, measure the tray slot and compare it with the Steba pans, whose every dimension is published, or start from the raclette and fondue page.
Can I mix these with the pans that came with my machine?
If the machine is on Tefal's list, yes — they are the manufacturer's own pans for those appliances. Mixing pan types on one grill is otherwise a question of depth and handle shape, which is why this hub cares about dimensions.
