The Satisfry XXL, and the most completely specified air fryer of the four: 8.3 litres, 1 800 W, a published range of 40 to 200 °C, nine presets on a digital touchscreen, a halfway turn reminder and automatic shut-off. Ceramic-coated grill plate and basket both declared dishwasher-safe, all food-contact parts BPA-free.
The bottom line The specification sheet other manufacturers should be embarrassed by. Capacity, power, temperature range, coating, dishwasher declaration, BPA statement, safety behaviour — Russell Hobbs publishes all of it, and the 40 °C floor is the one figure here that opens up low-temperature work the others cannot state. What it does not publish is how much worktop it occupies, which for the largest drawer on this site is the omission that stings.
That is the headline. 8.3 litres, 1 800 W, 40 to 200 °C, nine presets, ceramic coating, dishwasher declaration, BPA statement. On a shelf where most listings give litres and a slogan, a full specification is itself a reason to look closer.
The lowest published minimum on this site by a wide margin — the Midea starts at 80 °C and Philips publishes no minimum at all for the 2000 Series. Russell Hobbs lists dehydrating among its nine programmes, and that is what a 40 °C setting is for. We report the temperature the maker publishes; what may be dried, for how long, and what is safe to eat afterwards are questions for the manual that ships with the machine and for your national food safety authority, not for this page.
8.3 litres is the largest single drawer here. It is not the same thing as the Ninja’s 10.4 litres, which is two 5.2-litre zones that can be joined: one drawer cooks one thing at one temperature, and that is the trade between these two machines. Russell Hobbs does not publish the basket’s flat area, nor the appliance’s external dimensions.
Two published behaviours worth having: a tone at the halfway point as a reminder to turn the food, and an automatic shut-off both after cooking and when the basket is pulled out.
The ceramic-coated grill plate and the basket are both declared dishwasher-safe, and Russell Hobbs states that every part in contact with food is BPA-free.
Russell Hobbs states up to 53 % energy saved, and it is careful to say against what: a conventional oven. That is the maker’s own comparison and its own footnote — it says nothing about how this machine compares to the other three on this page.

Russell Hobbs lists chips, steak, fish, vegetables, chicken, pizza, baking, dehydrating and reheating. Dehydrating is what the 40 °C floor exists for; the manufacturer publishes the temperature, and the times and food-safety questions belong to its manual and to your national food safety authority.
Russell Hobbs states that the machine shuts off automatically after cooking and when the basket is removed, and that a tone sounds halfway through as a reminder to turn the food.

The FlexDrawer, and the only air fryer here that can cook two things two ways at once. Ninja publishes two independent 5.2-litre zones that join into a single 10.4-litre MegaZone, a stated load of 2 kg of chicken or 1.5 kg of chips per zone, seven functions, and — unusually for this family — the external dimensions.
Best for: A household cooking a main and a side at the same time, on a worktop with 50 cm of depth.

The smallest air fryer on this site, and the one whose controls are two dials rather than a screen. Midea publishes 2 litres, 1 150 W and a range of 80 to 200 °C with a timer to 60 minutes; the basket and the removable crisper plate are non-stick and declared dishwasher-safe.
Best for: One person, a small worktop, and a cook who would rather turn a dial than read a screen.

The Airfryer 2000 Series, and the model Philips publishes a usable-load figure for rather than only a litre count: 500 g of chips, six drumsticks or 500 g of vegetables in a 4.2-litre basket. Touchscreen with nine presets, RapidAir with the StarPlate, non-stick surfaces declared dishwasher-safe.
Best for: Two people who want the same result twice, and a listing that says what actually fits.
